The Portland Rose Festival

There is only a handful of things more Portland as F**k (#PAF) than the Portland Rose Festival, which officially kicks off the summer season in the City of Roses.

With its family-friendly parades, Fleet Week, Dragon Boat Races, and the hard-to-ignore Fun Center– I mean, Cityfair–on Tom McCall Waterfront Park, it’s no wonder that the Portland Rose Festival has been part of Portland culture for over 100 years.

Tonight’s Starlight Parade at 8:30 pm marks the beginning of this annual two-week celebration.  Yours truly may actually watch it this year. 🙂
